Privacy policy

This policy describes how Tako (“we”, “us”) handles information on takoterminal.com and the signed-in desk. It is written for the Google sign-in we use to identify your account.

Who we are

Tako is a discretionary trading desk for Bybit USDT linear perpetuals. We are not Bybit, Google, or a broker. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect when you sign in with Google

Sign-in uses Google Identity Services. After you approve the prompt, Google sends us an ID token. From that token we read:

• your Google user ID (subject)
• your email address (must be verified with Google)
• your display name, if Google includes it

We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or other Google content. We do not sell this information.

What else we store

• An account on our servers (email, name, role, last sign-in, desk preferences such as preferred venue).
• A session token in your browser (local storage) so you stay signed in on that device.
• Optional Bybit API key and secret you paste in Account. We encrypt them on our system and use them only to send orders and read account state you request from the desk.
• Comms (chat) messages you send on the desk, so the analyst can reply. Those prompts may be processed by third-party AI providers we use to generate answers.
• Favorite pairs you star on radar. Those are saved in your browser’s local storage, not as a required part of the Google login.

The desk also loads public market data from Bybit (candles, tape). That is market data, not your Google profile.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• create and authenticate your Tako session
• show the desk, brief, and ticket to you
• place or cancel Bybit orders when you do so, if you connected keys
• operate and debug the service, including admin tools for operators of this instance

Who we share it with

• Google, as part of sign-in (their terms and privacy policy apply to Google).
• Bybit, when you trade with keys you connected (their terms apply to trading).
• Hosting, database, and AI vendors that process data to run the desk. They are not allowed to use it as their own product mailing list.

We do not run ads on the desk or sell personal data to advertisers.

Cookies and similar

Our session lives in local storage. Google’s sign-in button may set cookies Google controls. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention and your choices

We keep account data while you use Tako. You can sign out from Account (that drops the browser session). You can remove Bybit keys from Account. To delete the account on our servers, email [email protected] from the same address you use to sign in.

Children

Tako is not directed at children. Do not use the desk if you are under 18.

Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
